The pioneer of Helsinki cocktail scene first opened its doors in Hotel Torni in the 1960s.
After the Prohibition Act, American bartenders moved to Europe and established bars in their new hometowns, bringing with them the cocktail culture of the United States of the 1920s, elegant interior design and attention to quality.
Over the decades, in the heart of Helsinki, American Bar became a meeting spot to pause, unwind and enjoy. Today, re-opened and redefined, this institution continues to captivate senses through new signature cocktails and time-honored classics, inspired by the daring attitude and unique skills of master bartenders.
