All Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna’s meeting venues have been given a smart refurb. The new venues exude ease inviting the hotel’s guests and locals to take advantage of the hotel’s facilities for work and leisure pursuits. Its facilities offer high-tech solutions to meet today’s needs, thus ensuring that hybrid meetings can be effortlessly organised there. Four of the meeting rooms at Hotel Vaakuna were affected by the refurbishment work; the fifth one, the auditorium, was renovated earlier. At the heart of the conference venues is the artwork “Mikkeli 21” by the artist Iikka Hackman on the wall of Restaurant Frans & Michelle’s mezzanine floor.

Our conference hosts will look after you throughout your meeting. Frans & Michelle’s kitchen provides catering for your meeting from breakfast to dinner. The food for your meeting is customised to meet your needs during the day.

KAIHU

Size 89 m², max. 16 people.

A modern meeting room with a boardroom layout as well as a living-room style area to the front of the venue and movable square tables which enable group work in a more creative setting. Hybrid meeting room technology ensures a high-quality audio and video link to the room.

Varaa Tupala

KIRJALA

Size 99 m², max. 70 people

The refurbished meeting room Kirjala is located on the first floor of the hotel. The space accommodates 60 guests in a theatre-style layout. The equipment in the room includes: 133” projector picture, Barco clicksare wireless screen connection as well as hybrid meeting system (camera + speaker + microphone).

NAISVUORI AND URPOLA

Our smaller meeting rooms are located on the first and second floors of the hotel. A pleasant venue for small meetings and workshops. The venues can be booked as a meeting package for 2 to 11 people. Coffee is served in the meeting room and lunch in the hotel’s restaurant, Frans & Michelle.

Porrassalmi

Tapahtumaravintola Porrassalmi valmistui yökerho Night Vaakunan entisiin tiloihin. Jatkossa tilassa tarjoillaan myös kokouslounaat ja se toimii oivallisesti omana tilana erilaisille tapahtumille ja juhlille. Uuden tilan terrakotta-sävymaailma on saatu Suomen kansalliskivestä, punaisesta graniitista. Graniitin punaisen lisäksi tilasta löytyy sinisen sävyjä ja vaaleaa pintaa tuomaan tilaan raikkautta.

Tilassa on mahdollista järjestää tilaisuuksia 20-84 henkilölle, valikoimastamme löytyy illalliseen sekä noutopöytä, että pöytiintarjoiltuja vaihtoehtoja. Porrassalmesa löytyy iso näyttö, puheäänentoisto ja tekniikkavarausta mahdollisille esiintyjille.
