MEETINGS
At Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone Savonlinna, the splendid meeting room and event facilities are suited to small family gatherings as well as to events with several hundred guests. The recent refurbishment work at our premises ensures that we can offer event spaces that meet today’s needs.
Our facilities have up-to-date meeting technology, and we provide Perlina di Castello’s delicious catering for your events. A meeting host looks after you and your guests during your visit. The catering for your meeting is organised with your needs in mind.
Our versatile premises can be transformed into party venues for different kinds of events. In cooperation with our sales service and staff, we customise events to match your wishes.

MEETING AND EVENT VENUE LUOTO
The meeting and event venue Luoto on the second floor of Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone offers a fabulous setting for up to 130 people.
The multi-purpose premises can be divided into two sections using a glass partition wall, which means that the venue can be used for different kinds of meetings and events.
The restaurant-like space at the front is well suited to evening gatherings, relaxed events and dinners. The venue has an open kitchen for organising cooking courses and offering culinary experiences. There is also a fully equipped bar at the premises.
The 50-person cabinet at the back is ideal for meetings. The table arrangement can be modified depending on your needs. The venue is equipped with modern meeting technology including a data projector and screen as well as fast wireless broadband for all meeting participants.
Catering is served at the front of the venue or in Perlina di Castello.
The premises can be used as one large space, and if necessary, audio and video technology is available for linking the hotel’s lobby and Othello and Pihlaja cabinets to the venue.
The Luoto meeting and event venue is flooded with natural light through its large windows.
The venue’s central location next to Savonlinna Market Square and Lake Saimaa and its own entrance add nice elements to your event arrangements.
OTHELLO
Size 115 m², max. 30 people
Othello on the first floor of Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone Savonlinna is a pleasant and modern, glass-walled meeting room for 30 people in a living-room-style setting. The venue boasts lovely natural light, comfortable chairs and tables on wheels, which can be arranged to meet the customer’s needs.
It is pleasant to watch presentations on the big screen in the room or via the large electronic screen embedded in the ceiling. We provide catering for you in the meeting room, and during breaks you can relax in the stylish lounge. The venue includes taps for Saimaa H20 drinking water.
The space is well-suited to evening gatherings, for organising small intimate parties. Different furniture solutions enable various workshops, exhibitions, small fairs etc. Ask about other catering options for this venue.
PIHLAJA
Size 46 m², max. 12 people
Pihlaja cabinet in the hotel’s lobby is a spacious and modern, glass-walled and soundproofed meeting room for 12 participants and includes an electronic screen and an adjustable standing desk.
The easy access to the lobby space enables, for example, group work. Our energising catering boosts thought processes, and the results speak for themselves.
VIINIKELLARI
Size 46 m², max. 15 people
Viinikellari in the basement of Perlina di Castello is suited to meetings as well as evening gatherings. The space has modern meeting equipment and wireless broadband for all meeting participants.
